I had the honor and pleasure of knowing Patrick for almost 15 years. He was the last true genius living in Hollywood. He was a brilliant man, full of razor sharp and eloquent wisdom. He greatly enjoyed our matching of wits and our candid conversations. We met in New York for the 1st time and he presented me with a screenplay he had written. We then moved on to casting. He read 3 W.B. Yeats poems for an upcoming audio book as well. His health was never great and sadly I had to purchase the screenplay, along with his exact instruction as to how it was to be directed. Without Pat directing and coaching the enviorment it will be quite a task. he was to appear in a short yet pivota role as well. He was a sweet man behind his "Prisoner" persona and I shall miss him. I hope to have time in the near future to relate our long friendship on this blog. Until then, "Feel Free" to email me with any appropriate questions.
